Bonded warehouse
A bonded warehouse is a government-approved storage facility where goods can be temporarily held without the immediate payment of customs duties or taxes. This allows businesses engaged in international trade to store imported goods until they are ready for distribution or sale, deferring the payment of duties until the goods are released for consumption. These warehouses are under customs control, ensuring compliance with regulations, and offer flexibility for value-added processes or re-exportation without incurring immediate financial obligations.
